The Advent of more than enough

As we count down the days to Christmas, I want to embrace the profound truth this season brings—a truth that surpasses material gifts and festive celebrations. It's a truth that declares we have received more than enough—a Savior, a promise, a presence, and an overflowing hope.

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 2:10 (NIV)

Here is the offer for inclusivity the world can never give. It is a joyous proclamation that transcends earthly limitations.

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

The answer to the chaos and confusion has come!

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 (NKJV)

The promise of the Father is the greatest gift of all.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23 (NKJV)

I am never alone.
