In Christ
“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3 (NIV)
Being in Christ changes everything.
Think of Noah and the ark. When the rains came, those inside the ark were safe. Those outside—even those clinging to it—were lost. Proximity to Jesus is not enough. We must be in Him.
A similar picture is found in the story of Moses.
"But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him." Exodus 2:3-4 (NIV)
Moses' mother made an ark for him—a place of protection, safety, and preservation. When we entrust ourselves to Christ, He does the same for us.
This applies to our lives, our families, and everything we hold dear. As we pray, train, and dedicate our loved ones to Him, we are placing them in His care—into the security of the ark.
I have seen this in my own life—my children, my story, my comfort—are all in His hands, preserved and protected, safe and secure.
This is where true peace is found.
Are you living with boldness, knowing you are fully secure in Christ? Or are you standing on the outside, hesitant, fearful, holding back?
Today is the day to step in. To surrender. To trust the One who preserves, protects, and provides. The One who calls you His own.
