Wonderful Counselor
There was an extraordinary moment in history when hope entered a weary world. In the chaos and pain of humanity, Jesus came—not to bypass our struggles, but to meet us in them. His birth is a story of love and hope.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)
Jesus is called the Wonderful Counselor for a reason.
He doesn’t rush us through grief or loneliness. Instead, He sits with us, offering strength and comfort. If your holiday season doesn’t look the way you imagined—if it’s marked by loss, heartache, or unmet dreams—know that the Christmas story is for you. It’s for those who feel lost in darkness, because in our darkness, He came with His brilliant light.
“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’” Luke 2:10 (NIV)
Jesus came for you—whether you are celebrating in joy or grieving in silence, surrounded by loved ones or feeling alone. The true meaning of Christmas is hope breaking into our world, bringing joy that transcends circumstances and a love that never fails.
If the holidays feel heavy this year, bring your heart to Jesus.
Let Him be your Wonderful Counselor, your Prince of Peace. Step away from the noise and chaos, and allow His presence to fill your soul with comfort and hope.
You are not forgotten. You are seen. You are deeply loved. Jesus came for you, and His promises are for you. This season, may His peace guard your heart and His joy sustain you.
